It is announced for the information of the general public that suitably qualified individuals are invited to apply for various vacancies in both Teaching and Non-Teaching areas at Kumasi Technical University (KsTU).

(A) TEACHING AREAS

Qualification: Applicant must have a Terminal Degree (Ph.D) in relevant area. Teaching experience in a University and /or relevant industrial experience will be an advantage.

(B) NON-TEACHING AREAS

1. Legal Officer

The Legal Officer shall be the Head of Legal Unit of the University and shall report directly to the Registrar.

Duties:

• The Legal Officer will be responsible for:

• All legal matters of the University, including but not limited to advising the Vice-Chancellor on contracts being entered into by the University

• Represent the University in court and other para-legal Institutions

• The legality of all transactions within and outside the University

• Carry out periodic legal audit of all sectors of the University

Qualification:

Applicant must:

• Hold a minimum LLB and BL and must be a qualified Lawyer registered with the Ghana Bar Association.

• Have six (6) years post-qualification experience at the Bar and must have practiced in an institution of similar standing.

2. Medical Doctor

Qualification:

Applicants must hold MB. ChB or its equivalent, and must be a qualified Medical Doctor duly registered by the Ghana Medical and Dental Council and in good standing with an active pin.

Applicant must have at least two (2) years post-qualification experience, and must have practiced in an institution of similar standing.
