Compu Ghana Donates ICT Equipment to Kumasi Technical University to Enhance Teaching and Learning

On Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) received a generous donation from Compu Ghana to support teaching, learning, and strengthen the ongoing partnership between the two institutions.

The brief donation ceremony was held at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, where Madam Juliet Sarfowa Asare, who oversees corporate affairs for Compu Ghana in Kumasi, presented the items on behalf of the organisation. The donation included two brand-new laptops and two projectors.

According to Madam Sarfowa Asare, the gesture reflects Compu Ghana’s commitment to fostering education through impactful corporate partnerships. The items are intended to aid academic work and strengthen the collaborative efforts between Compu Ghana and Kumasi Technical University.

Prof. Gabriel Dwomoh, the Vice-Chancellor of KsTU, received the items on behalf of the University and expressed sincere appreciation for the support.

“Thank you, Compu Ghana, for your generosity. My team and I deeply value this contribution, which will undoubtedly strengthen the partnership between Kumasi Technical University and Compu Ghana,” he stated.

The University remains committed to working with corporate institutions like Compu Ghana in ways that advance education, technology, and innovation.

 

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
